Chairman Ravi River Front Urban Development Authority (RRFUD) Rashid Aziz called on Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar in his CM’s office.
Rashid Aziz apprised the Chief Minister about the important matters of the project. Usman Buzdar while directing to finalize the project related affairs at the earliest said that RRFUD is a game-changer project of PTI government. No previous government dare to start this project as they only believed in lip service. He said that credit goes to the PTI government which has launched RRFUD under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. No one can deny economic, social, and environmental significance of this project. This project will bring revolution and boost economic and investment activities. He said that this project is of great importance for reducing the environmental pollution of the provincial metropolis. He said that opportunities of safe investment of billions of rupees will be made available not only for the expatriates but national and international investors as well. This project will generate thousands of job opportunities and 90 percent utilization of local goods will promote Pakistani industries. He further maintained that RRFUD project will become an example for the coming decades. Usman Buzdar assured Chairman RRDPA about the all out cooperation and support by the Punjab government.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar visited the shrine of Hazrat Baba Fareed-ud-Din Masood Gunj Shaker in Pakpattan. The Chief Minister laid a flower wreath and prayed for the development and solidarity of the Pakistan and prosperity of the people. Usman Buzdar especially prayed for the freedom of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Chief Minister visited the control room set up in the premises of shrine and personally monitored different places on digital wall. Usman Buzdar said that tolerance, patience and promotion of brotherhood are the hallmark of teaching of Sufi Saints. He said that our religion Islam was spread in sub continent through saints and religious leaders. Saints carried forward the immortal message of Islam. He expressed indignation over heap of garbage at Dhakki in Pakpattan and directed Deputy Commissioner Pakpattan for improving the cleanliness condition of the city. After the visit of shrine the Chief Minister had informal talked with the journalists. He said that journalistic problems will be given patient hearing. Sehat Insaaf Cards will be given to the journalists. Their problems were redressed by the PTI government in past and will also be resolved in future as well. He said today a project of setting up of Baba Fareed University Pakpattan has been announced. He said that government is committed to set up universities in every district of the province. Earlier, assembly members and ticket holders of PTI called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and the Chief Minister was given detailed briefings about Muharrum-ul-Harram arrangement in Pakpattan district. A meeting was also held under the chair of Punjab Chief Minister to review the progress on ongoing development projects. The Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar announced the project of Baba Fared University in Pakpattan and said that affairs of this project will be dealt with on priority basis. He said that dream of setting up of university in every district will be materialized. Usman Buzdar announced to restore 46 crore rupees of Local Bodies for Pakpattan on emergent basis and said that these funds would be utilized for providing best civic amenities to the citizens of Pakpattan. Project of gymnasium in Pakpattan will be completed. He said that the work on restoring water supply scheme in Malka Hanis will also be started soon. Construction works of Pakpattan Grain market will be completed. Under completion projects of Pakpattan will be completed on priority basis. New shelter homes and almonries will be established in Pakpattan. He said that there is no room for negligence in foolproof security arrangements during Muharram-ul-Harram.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives due to heavy rain in Punjab and other provinces. The Chief Minister extended heartfelt sympathies and condolences with the family members of the deceased. The Chief Minister also condoled over the loss of precious lives in various incidents of electrocution and collapse of roofs. The Chief Minister prayed that may Almighty Allah rest the depart souls in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the members of the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
