Two including Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Leader Mehar Kashif Siddique and his security guard were killed in a targeted attack on Wednesday, police said. According to details, culprit Mehar Amir barged into the house of the PML-Q leader and opened indiscriminate fire. As result of firing, Mehar Kashif Siddique’s security guard was killed on the spot and he himself was critically injured. The attacker fled the scene after committing the crime. The injured PML-Q leader was rushed to a local hospital from where he was referred to the Lahore General Hospital but he succumbed to his wounds on the way. Kashif Siddique had recently left the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and joined the PML-Q. Taking notice of the incident, Central Police Office directed to arrest the culprit as soon as possible.
