Two security personnel were killed and another injured in a roadside IED blast in Jarobi Dara area of Baizai tehsil, some 65 kilometres west of Ghalanai, the main town of Mohmand tribal district, here on Friday.
A district administration official confirmed that the BD party was on routine patrolling when the IED blast took place. Naib Sobedar Shahzad, a resident of Kotli Kashmir, and Sepoy Muhammad Kaleem, a resident of Bagh Kashmir, lost their lives, while sepoy Mohsin Khan was injured. The bodies of the deceased and the injured soldier were taken to the Headquarter 4 AK Camp at Shamsi Toor Khel border area of Biazai tehsil. After the incident security forces conducted search operation in the area but no one was arrested till the filling of the report.
