LAHORE: The Albayrak Waste Management Saturday arranged a cleanliness awareness session in the Government Special Education Centre, Shalimar Town.
The session was aimed at engaging children with special needs in co-curricular activities and making them responsible citizens by ensuring clean environment.
A special cleanup operation with the help of sanitary workers was also carried out at the school. Prior to the activity, the team of Albayrak installed waste bins and awareness message boards to ensure cleanliness in and around the school.
Speaking on the occasion, MPA Shahbaz lauded the efforts of the special children and added, “We should also cooperate with the Sanitary Department to encourage cleanliness in our surroundings.”
Albayrak Senior Manager Operations Mesut Deveci, Manager Communications Naeema Saeed, Manager Operations Sehrish Idrees, UC Chairman Master Nisar, UC Vice Chairman Haji Faryad and school Principal Zulfi Riasat also took part in the activity.
