The Supreme Court (SC) has ordered to reopen KP deforestation case on the request of lawyer Iftikhar Gillani. The case came up for hearing before a two members bench of SC comprising Justice Mushir Alam and Justice Qazi Amin Tuesday. The lawyer Iftikhar Gillani told the court during the hearing of the case that ” it is not my personal case but it is case of public interest. As many as 40 million rupees of people are stuck up therein. I want to give arguments in details if the court allows me. Justice Qazi Amin remarked ” we pay tribute to you for saving public money. The court while ordering to reopen the case again on the plea of Iftikhar Gillani adjourned the hearing of the case for one week.
