Minister for National Food Security Syed Fakhar Imam has asked the United Nations Security Council to call an emergency session on the deteriorating situation in the Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. In a video message on PTV, he said Pakistani nation will observe Youm-e-Istehsal on Wednesday as a day of Solidarity with their proud and valiant Kashmiri brethren. Fakhar Imam said Pakistan is steadfast in its support to the Kashmiris and it will continue exposing Indian atrocities at every forum. In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, curfew and strict restrictions have been intensified ahead of August 5, which will be observed as Yaum-e-Istehsal across the Line of Control, in Pakistan and the world over, today. The territory is already under military siege since August 5 last year. Indian troops have been deployed in strength in view of the completion of one year of the revocation of Jammu and Kashmir’s special status by the fascist Modi government of India on August 5, last year.
