Please tell us in detail about Infinitum Education. How did it come into being and what is its sole purpose?
Founded in 2017, Infinitum Education was set up in Oxford as a member of the incubator business development programme for Oxford University academics run by the University of Oxford’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Oxford University Innovation and continues to be supported by its shareholder, Oxford University Innovation. This has been an essential factor in Infinitum Education’s success to date and has established partnerships/networks around the globe. Our vision at Infinitum Education is to empower future leaders and entrepreneurs by creating a launch pad for them to make a positive social change for future generations to come.
What qualities and attributes does a future leader and entrepreneur need to have?
Future leaders and entrepreneurs need to have a range of qualities and attributes that allows them to be successful at building a venture in a space where nine out of 10 start-ups don’t make it beyond the first year. Some of the most critical attributes include vision, creativity, passion, grit and resourcefulness. However, the key to success is the ability to foster a growth mindset which allows leaders to develop a range of constantly evolving leadership competencies depending on which stage of business growth an entrepreneur is currently facing.

Please tell us a little about your faculty members and advisers. How important a role do they play in choosing, selecting and identifying a future leader from the students who take a course or attend a workshop?

At Infinitum Education, we want our students and training participants to connect with the world’s leading mind, taking them as role models and inspiring them to leave a legacy for the next generation. In our live online entrepreneurship Immersion workshop, which is a 1-week live online programme from August 10-14. We offer our top-performing students in the programme to be hired as interns at a start up venture with some of the most ambitious, competent and leading entrepreneurial minds to boost and develop their leadership and entrepreneurial skills. Our core belief is that “to be the best, you must learn from the best”.

The live online entrepreneurship immersion programme is a one-week course that is designed for 16 to 25-year-olds that want to explore the world of entrepreneurship and begin to develop their mindset and skills for an exciting career as entrepreneurs. For the most promising entrepreneurs, Infinitum Education will bring the world’s leading investors, VC funds and entrepreneurial expertise to provide endless opportunities for support development and the acceleration of new innovations and ventures in developing world. The programme will be running from August 10-14. The Dreams Programme is a five-day comprehensive workshop is for highly ambitious undergraduate candidates, looking to boost their applications into competitive UK and US universities. The programme covers five main areas of a “top-notch application, namely: admissions strategy, subject knowledge deepening, personal statement articulation, entrance exam preparation and excelling at interviews. The workshop will be delivered by highly accomplished leaders, entrepreneurs and graduates from the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Harvard, Princeton, MIT and other Ivy League universities. Participants will have the opportunity to get expert guidance on obtaining an International Scholarships as well as breakout rooms for the most popular subject areas: Engineering, Law, Medicine, Economics, Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Humanities. Students Student’s will also have the chance to attend several highly informative talks on the secrets of the admissions process, as well as detailed Sessions on US Essay Guidance, Interview Preparation and US SATs. The student will leave the programme with a detailed skills gap assessment to have a clear action plan on bridging the gap to admissions success.
What are you currently working on?
Infinitum Education is currently working on a number of programmes including but not limited to a number of exciting entrepreneurship and innovation programmes. Ivy League and Oxbridge universities admissions strategy online workshops covering various elements including international scholarships, interview skills, personal statements and more. We are also in the process of developing programmes for incubation centres for universities. Model United Nations – These would take place in person after the pandemic in emerging markets. Infinitum Education has plans to bring the team from the University of Oxford to Pakistan and other developing markets to conduct MUNs. Teacher Training Programme – The first phase of this will be aimed at secondary school teachers. We aim to develop this programme in collaboration with the Department of Education at the University of Oxford. Customised Corporate programmes are suitable for both corporate and public sector leaders, managers and employees who are responsible for the performance of their business units. Young Leaders Programme is a highly selective and unique immersive leadership and entrepreneurial training delivered by the University of Oxford Faculty twice a year. Brightest young students from around the world go through a rigorous application and interview process to secure a place in this competitive programme to learn from some of the best minds at Oxford.
