Inspector General of Police Punjab Shoaib Dastgir said that easy provision of facilities in accordance with the modern policing to citizens is the ultimate goal of Punjab Police therefore; network of khidmat marakiz has been extended to all districts across the province where the citizens are acquiring 14 important facilities by online modern integrated system without any trouble. He further said that use of modern technology has made professional matters more transparent and also speeded up process of service delivery by which precious time and money of the citizens are being saved. He expressed these views while inaugurating new building of khidmat markaz Bahria town Lahore and via online 9 different projects of Rawalpindi police.
At Bahria Town Lahore, CCPO Lahore Zulfiqar Hameed while briefing about facilities at khidmat markaz told that modern integrated khidmat markaz will provide more than one dozen services to the citizens including police character certificates, tenancy registration, police verification report, record of mobile phones and vehicles and licensing facilities. He further said that keeping in view facilities of the public, APP of khidmat markaz has also been prepared and the citizens may download this app and get information regarding services by their mobile and can also book their visit time by which they will not face any undue wait.
After this, an online ceremony was held at central police office in which IG Punjab inaugurated 09 modern projects of Rawalpindi police meant for service delivery to public including the projects of reporting center and khidmat markaz for transgender, reporting center and khidmat markaz for women, police khidmat markaz Gujar khan, Police khidmat markaz Taxila, police khidmat markaz Traffic headquarters Rawalpindi, state of the art licensing branch Rawalpindi, online chowki system , CPO RWP 111 helpline and inauguration of new gate of Police lines Rawalpindi. Rawalpindi police officers while briefing told IG Punjab that these projects will reduce the issues of the citizens and improve overall performance of Police whereas paperless licensing issuing system and automated driving test recording system has also been started which will be proved a significant step forward towards smart and community policing. IG Punjab was of the opinion that with the functioning of new khidmat marakizs, people of Rawalpindi will be able to get advantages easily whereas with this modern integrated system, issues of citizens will be eliminated and will also bring transparency in official matters of the department.
He further said that good behavior should be adopted with the citizens coming towards khidmat marakiz, police stations and other police offices and their issues must be resolved at any cost whereas senior officers should continue the process of monitoring and inspection for maintaining the utility of these projects. He further stressed that the officers and officials deputed in all points of khidmat marakiz should wear face masks and use hand sanitizers and also implement social distancing at any cost so that they may avoid from Corona virus and perform their duties of protection of wealth and lives of people more effectively. He further said that, police force is continued to protect the wealth and lives of people in such difficult circumstances which reflects our solemn determination and ultimate goal and true representation. In inauguration ceremony of khidmat markaz at Bahria Town Lahore, CCPO Lahore Zulfiqar Hameed, DIG Operations Ashfaq khan, CTO Lahore captain retired syed Hamad Abid and SSP operations Faisal Shehzad were present whereas in inauguration ceremony of Rawalpindi projects, Additional IG Welfare and Finance Tariq Masood Yaseen, Additional IG Operations Inam Ghani , DIG Operations Sohail Akhtar Sukhera were present and RPO Sohail Habeeb Tajak, CPO Rawalpindi Muhammad Ahsan younus and CTO Syed Ali Akbar participated through online.
