After the heart-wrenching PIA aircraft crash on Friday, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail directed relocation of affected residents of the town where the incident occurred.
The governor said that he has been ordered by Prime Minister Imran Khan to tend to residents of the crash site which happens to be a residential town in the proximity of Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport. the governor has tasked relevant authorities to relocate affected families to nearby hotels till the duration of relief and rescue activities on site. He also said that PM Imran has offered all sorts of help by the federal government required in the ongoing rescue and relief operation.
Earlier in the day, a PIA aircraft with around 98 passengers and crew members on board crashed in a residential area near Jinnah International Airport.
