Young Doctors’ Association protested at Civil Hospital Sukkur against the Sindh government over non-payment of their 13 months of salaries and partially boycotted the OPD. Doctor Abdul Majeed Jatoi along with 200 male and female doctors from Sukkur and Larkana on Thursday staged a protest at the Civil Hospital, Sukkur, against the Sindh government, adding that they had been performing their services at various quarantine centres without salaries. They said they did not need salutes for their services but wanted salaries to feed their families and protective kits to save themselves while carrying out their duties. He demanded immediate release of their salaries and provision of protective equipment for those performing duties at quarantine centres. General Secretary Khairpur PMA, Dr Zafar Jatoi said if their salaries of the young doctors would not be released within days, then the PMA would take extreme decision.
