A woman was injured in wall collapse incident while standing crops on thousand of Kanal were damaged as heavy rains lashed different areas of district Tank. According to details, different areas of the district including Gara Baloch, Pai, Barakheil and Gul Imam received heavy rain. The rain inflicted severe damage to wheat and gram crop standing on thousands of kanal land in the said areas. Meanwhile, a 55-year-old woman identified as Iqbal Bibi w/o Rustam was injured when boundary wall of a house collapsed in village Gul Imam. She was shifted to DHQ Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, roofs and boundary walls of several others houses in the area were also damaged due to rain but no causality was reported. Later, Assistant Commissioner (AC) Hameedullah Khan Afridi visited village Gul Imam and other affected areas of the district and assured the locals about earliest relief and rehabilitation activities by district government.
