Special Assistant to PM on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that she was trolled by the Indians over her tweet for Afghans.
Indian accounts trolling me, saying “Why you are tweeting for Afghans?”
Well, I am tweeting not only for Afghans but also for Pashtuns living in Pakistan. There are more then 26 million Pashtuns in Pakistan and there are 12 million Pashtuns in Afghanistan.
All are angry! https://t.co/s7g4COLgbD— Firdous Ashiq Awan (@Dr_FirdousPTI) December 8, 2019
Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan posted a tweet in which she said that Indian accounts trolled her by saying “Why you are tweeting for Afghans?”
Awan wrote, “Well, I am tweeting not only for Afghans but also for Pashtuns living in Pakistan.
She added, “There are more than 26 million Pashtuns in Pakistan and there are 12 million Pashtuns in Afghanistan. All are angry!”
Her tweet came after Awan’s earlier tweet on Bollywood movie “Panipat” where she mentioned Afghan hero Ahmed Shah Abdali.
Awan wrote, “Release of Indian film #Panipat, which tarnishes the image of Afghan hero Ahmed Shah Abdali, on the day Babri Masjid was demolished by Hindu RSS fanatics 27 years ago, (6th Dec 1992) utterly exposes the Indian mindset for Afghans & their treatment of Muslims.”
