Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar will resume visiting different cities from the next week. He will review progress on development schemes during these visits. The chief minister will visit government offices, police stations and hospitals. He will also review arrangements made to maintain law & order situation as well as cleanliness conditions during these visits. He will issue on-the-spot instructions for the redressal of public grievances. The chief minister will also meet with the assembly members, PTI’s office-bearers and workers to listen to their problems and will issue necessary instructions on-the-spot. The chief minister said in this regard that he had already been visiting different cities in the past as a direct liaison with the people helps in understanding the actual situation. Every possible measure will be taken for providing relief to the people besides accelerating the pace of work on development projects, he added.
Meanwhile, it was informed that funds worth more than 2 crores, 10 lakh and 28 thousand rupees have been released for the treatment of 10 patients for the liver transplant, bone marrow and treatment of other diseases.
Funds worth Rs.26 lakh and 8 thousand rupees have been released for the liver transplantation of Bushra Shehzadi, a resident of Housing Colony, Nanaka Sahab, who is suffering from liver disease and is admitted at Sheikh Zayed Hospital, Lahore. Similarly, Rs.21 lakh and 60 thousand has been issued for the liver transplant of Amjed Javed, a resident of Barkat Town, Main GT Road, Adda Shabeel, Lahore. He is also a liver patient and is admitted to Sheikh Zayed Hospital. Rs.35 lakh has been issued for bone marrow transplant of Shaista Bibi, a resident of Mohalla Farid Gunj, Faisalabad. She is admitted in Armed Forces Bone Marrow Transplant Centre, Rawalpindi. Funds of Rs.20 lakh has been provided for bone marrow transplant of Muhammad Usman, a resident of Band Road, Nai Sabzi Mandi, Jhang Saddar.
Funds of Rs. 34 lakh has been issued for the bone marrow transplant of Hafiz Maaz, a resident of New City Multan, who is admitted in National Institute of Blood Diseases & Bone Marrow Transplantation, Karachi. Moreover, a fund of Rs. 24 lakh has been provided to Rashid Noor, a resident of Taunsa for the treatment of his children namely Ajwa Khan and Muhammad Ahmed. Rs.20 lakh and 60 thousand has been released for Wasif Riaz resident of Clifton Colony, Wahdat Road, Lahore. Rs.18 lakh has been released for cancer treatment of Tasleem Ali, a resident of Mohallah Bani, Forest Office, Rawalpindi. Similarly, Rs.11 lakh has been released for the treatment of cancer patient Muhammad Anas, a resident of Mohallah Janndi Haveli Lakha, Tehsil Depalpur, Okara.
The Chief Minister said that releasing funds for the treatment of destitute patients is his responsibility. Those who provide relief to the ailing humanity get a reward in this world and hereafter. People have full right over the national resources and I will continue serving the ailing humanity, he concluded.
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the murder of a minor child after kidnapping in the area of Ghala Mandi Sahiwal and sought a report from RPO Sahiwal. He further directed the administration to ensure the provision of justice to the affected family. He also extended heartfelt sympathies and condolence to the bereaved family.
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has expressed a deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives in a road accident in Muzaffargarh. He extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved heirs and directed the administration to provide best treatment facilities to the injured. Chief Minister has also sought a report from the administration.
Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has issued policy guidelines regarding posting and transfer and an official letter has been sent by Principal Secretary to CM to Chief Secretary, IG Punjab and other administrative secretaries. It has been stated in the said letter that competent authority can utilize the powers of posting and transfer on administrative grounds, vacant posts and operational needs under government rules of business, 2011.
The competent authority will ensure the appointment of suitable officers on important posts for improving the performance of government offices.
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has taken notice of murder of three persons in Ferozewala and sought a report from Inspector General Police. He has directed to arrest the accused at the earliest. He said that strict action should be initiated against the accused according to law. He further directed that justice should be ensured to the affected family.
