Prime Minister Imran Khan has called his Sri Lankan counterpart Ranil Wickremesinghe today to condemn the terrorist attack that took place on Easter and to express his condolences to the Sri Lankan nation .
Imran Khan also reiterated Pakistan’s offer of assistance to Sri Lanka towards counter terrorism efforts.
According to Radio Pakistan, “The prime minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and profound prayers for the speedy recovery of the wounded.”
Imran Khan also added that being the worst sufferers of terrorism, “we can feel the pain of our Sri Lankan brethren”.
The people of Pakistan stood with the Sri Lankan Christian community at this hour of grief .
The prime minister also stated that terrorism has no boundaries, no religion and threatens the peace of the entire region and the world .
