The City Traffic Police (CTP) on Monday organized an awareness raising seminar on under-age driving in a private college at Kahota – Rawalpindi.
According to spokesperson CTP Wajid Satti, in pursuance of special instructions of Chief traffic officer Muhammad Bin Ashraf, the education wing of traffic police arranged the seminar followed by a walk.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rural area Junaid Mohsin and Incharge education wing Qaiser Satti briefed the students about the traffic rules and safety measures.
Parents and the teachers were urged to educate their children about road safety measures. A large number of people including students, colleges, teachers, local traders, educationists, notables and social workers attended the seminar.
It is pertinent to mention that city traffic police is using all medium of communication including social media platforms to raise awareness among the public regarding the traffic rules and safety.
