RAWALPINDI: At least nine terrorists were killed and seven soldiers martyred in an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in North Waziristan on Saturday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement said an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) was launched in Gharlamai and Spera Kunar Algad areas in North Waziristan.

The operation was launched after intelligence received that a group of terrorists was hiding in a compound.
During the operation nine terrorist were killed and their bodies have been taken into custody, while seven of the soldiers including, one captain embraced martyrdom.
Captain Junaid, Havaldar Amir, Havaldar Atif, Havaldar Nasir, Havaldar Abdual Razzaq, Sepoy Sami and Sepoy Anwar embraced martyrdom.
The area has been cleared and deceased terrorists were being identified, ISPR adedd.
