Four open-air gyms were inaugurated at four different places in Abbottabad district by KP Assembly Speaker Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani on Sunday.
The total cost of the five projects is Rs12.00 (million) where four were completed and special Gym equipment’s were installed at Jail Park, Lady Garden, Jinnah Bagh and Cantonment Park Jinnah Abad will be used by the females and males.
Speaker KPK Assembly Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani accompanied by the Ali Khan Jadoon, MNA, commissioner Hazara Zaheer Ul Islam and Cantonment Board officials while at the inauguration ceremonies said that PTI government is committed to encourage the healthy activities in the province as well as in the country and will be providing more and more healthy recreation facilities to our youth and also the senior citizens who can get best use of their spare time in neat and clean environment.
Mushtaq said that open air gym facility is free of cost and will be available to the youth and all others local residents and also to the tourists also. He added that exercise facility will give chance to the locals to take care of their health and our youngsters will be encouraged to spent their spare time in healthy activities instead of wasting their times on games etc. on computers .
