Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Ahmed Khan Buzdar has said the former governments deceived people by raising empty slogans. The Punjab CM in his statement said that the opposition parties tried to divide people instead of supporting them in the tough time and are only making verbal statements. “Pakistan, along with the entire world, is facing uncommon circumstances due to the coronavirus pandemic and the Punjab government is also taking unprecedented measures to counter the epidemic. “The biggest financial program in the country’s history to provide relief to the poor is ongoing under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. “Millions of needy families have been handed over an amount of Rs 12,000 with transparency till now. “The opposition is playing a negative role in this situation as well whereas the entire leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is standing shoulder-to-shoulder with people.
“The Punjab government has decided not to set up Ramzan Bazar and financial help will be provided to the deserving families under CM Insaf Imdad Programme-style Ramzan package.”
