Sindh Minister for Information, Local Government, Housing &Town Planning, Religious Affairs, Forest and Wildlife Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that the Sindh government would distribute essential food items amongst the needy people during the period of lock down in collaboration with the welfare organizations. The provincial Minister for Information said that he recently chaired a meeting in which representatives of various welfare organizations, including Edhi, Chhipa, Alamgeer, Al-Khidmat and others, were present and they all discussed in detail the possible ways of distribution of free rations among the people during the lock down period. In a statement released from Ali House Karachi, he said that the welfare organizations engaged in distributing free ration amongst the poor and needy were indeed an asset of this country. Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that all these welfare organizations were actively participating and assisting the Sindh government in its relief activities during the lock down. Paying tribute to those working for welfare organizations, the provincial Minister doe Information said that they were those great people who had dedicated their lives to helping the poor and needy. He said that in these testing times, the government could do nothing alone, adding that, with the help of these great people, all the needs of the poor and needy would be fulfilled and delivered on time.
