Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s Azadi March was challenged in Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday. The petition has been filed by a citizen requesting the high court to stop Maulana Fazlur Rehman from staging a sit-in in the federal capital.
The plaintiff has made Maulana Fazlur Rehman, interior secretary, education secretary, Islamabad deputy commissioner and Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) chairman as respondents. Let it be known that the IHC and the Supreme Court had earlier directed to stage sit-in the specified areas.
