The PML-N has took a dig at the government for giving C class facilities to the party’s Vice President Maryam Nawaz in jail.
Notably, Maryam Nawaz was held in custody on a 14-day judicial remand by an accountability court last Wednesday in a money laundering case.
Slamming the government for giving Maryum C class jail facilities, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said Maryam Nawaz’s only crime was that she held a share in the family’s properties from her grandfather, Mian Sharif. She termed it a political grudge.
Furthermore, she maintained that Maryam deserved B class as per jail manual, but Imran Khan’s government is undermining even legal rights of political rivals.
In brief, the spokesperson said that by changing her class and by banning home cooked-meals, the government has gone too far in political vendetta. She affirmed that treating Maryum like a habitual criminal would not shatter her morale.
