The University of Management & Technology has held a seminar titled ‘Thinking Pakistan’. In the inaugural session, President UMT Ibrhim Hasan Murad welcomed all guests at UMT and gave them a brief overview of the university. While sharing his thoughts he told that UMT is one of Pakistan’s nonprofit premier research universities. He also told that UMT’s main goal is to solve real world issues through research “therefore we are transforming learners to leaders as (late) Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad’s vision.” “Today’s sitting is to have dialogues for the solution of problems and challenges faced by the country and nation,” he said, and also shed light on the institution of democracy under the vision of the Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal. UMT president said that Jinah believed in democracy as it is in the blood of Muslims because it advocates equality.
