Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Punjab’s Deputy Information Secretary Barrister Aamir Hussain on Wednesday said that the party would observe a ‘black day’ along with the opposition on July 25.
“In Karachi, the PPP will host the protest, while the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will host it in Lahore. Right now, every sector in Pakistan is being annoyed by inflation,” he said while addressing a press conference.
Hussain said that Pakistani citizens have been drowned inside Tsunami of inflation. He said Imran Khan has insulted democracy, and added that the prime minister should shun the politics of “container”.
PPP Gujranwala Information Secretary Muhammad Sageer Butt, Trade Wing District President Malik Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Sabir Bajwa, Tamior Dar and some other leaders were also present on the occasion. Hussain said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would soon lead the session of Punjab in all five divisions. Taking a jibe at the premier, he said the PTI leadership italked about taking back billions but now ended up chatting about television and air conditioner. He said the NRO was not meant for running away from the country but instead returning to the country. He said the PPP would hold a peaceful protest on July 25.
