Uxniversity of Management and Technology (UMT) School of Media and Communication Studies presents a well-staged play, “Gumrah,” here at Alhamra Arts Council. The play was produced and directed by UMT students, Adyan, Alishba Naz, Saad and Anser Daud.
Those present on the occasion included UMT Rector Dr Muhammad Aslam; film and drama actor Toqeer Nasir; Rashid Khan as well as faculty, staff and students from other universities.
The drama has been produced with a theme of creating a sense of wrong and evil among people and making them realise that how they could make themselves and this society a good place to live in.
While talking to the audience, Alhamra Director Toqeer Nasir appreciated the students and UMT’s management for organising such an instructive and educative play. UMT students were said to have great potential in direction and production.
UMT Rector also congratulated students for their performances.
The play was attended by families of students along with people from all walks of life.
