British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew, another delegation of 35 members from Lahore chamber of commerce and Industry led by SVP Khawaja Shehzad Nasir and 26 members and delegation of National management college Peshawar called on Punjab Governor Ch Muhammad Sarwar here in Governor House Lahore. Governor Punjab said that whole world including China is now having trust in Pakistan as they all know that Pakistan is now being ruled by honest leadership under Imran khan. World is now recognizing sacrifices of Pakistan against terrorism. Corrupt and money launderers are biggest criminals of Pakistan and they will not be given mercy at all. All foreign investors are being facilitated and protected in Pakistan. Governor Punjab was talking to Thomas Drew British High Commissioner to Pakistan with other diplomats. He talked about Pak-UK relations, war against terror and other issues of mutual concern. Governor Punjab said that Pakistan and Britain have close ties; UK govt has always supported Pakistan in the provision of basic facilities in health and education sectors. World must recognize Pakistan and its security forces sacrifices in war against terrorism. He added that Pakistan community is playing an important role in UK development sector. Pakistan is willing to welcome more UK investment in Pakistan. Prior to this Governor Punjab was talking to 35 members delegation of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry led by SVP Khawaja Shehzad Nasir. Chamber SVP briefed Governor about economic issues and gave suggestions about Imports and exports, and suggestions about bringing more foreign investment and establishment of special economic zones. While talking to the delegation, Governor Punjab said that govt. is aware of business community’s issues and it’s the priority of the govt to facilitate the businessmen to improve our economy.
