Torrential rain and floods have damaged a large number of properties and cultivated fields in various areas of Landi Kotal. The affectees of Sheenpokh in Loy-Shelman, including Israj Khan and Amanullah, said, on Wednesday, that heavy torrential flooding in Kabul river had washed away their wheat cultivated fields and a dozen of their cattle, a day earlier. “The heavy rain wasted our year old hard working by destroyed our crops, left us on the mercy of the God,” they opined. Flash floods also demolished boundary walls, fields and property in localities of Sheikhmal Khel and Ghani Khel.
