ISLAMABAD: The National Security Committee (NSC) on Thursday has imposed a ban on Jammat-ut-Dawa (JuD) and its Falah-e-Insaniat Foundation (FIF).
The Ministry of Interior in a statement said that National Security Committee (NSC) in meeting under the chair of Prime Minister Imran Khan briefly reviewed the National Action Plan and decided to blacklist Jannat-ut-Dawa (JuD) and its Falah-eInsaniat (FIF) group.
Earlier in January 2018, Securities and Exchange commission of Pakistan (SECP) prohibited the collection of donations by the JuD and few other charity organizations.
Moreover, Prime Minister Imran Khan while chairing the meeting directed Pakistan Army to respond comprehensively and befittingly to any aggression or misadventure by India.
The Primer clearly stated that the state of Pakistan is not involved in Pulwama incident and it was conceived, planned and executed indigenously.
Khan said that Pakistan has sincerely offered investigation of the incident and dialogue on the issue of terrorism among other disputed issues with India.
The Prime Minister said “We expect India to positively respond to these offers”.
