PESHAWAR: Awami National Party’s (ANP) leader Ibrar Khalil and his nephew Rashid were shot dead on Wednesday allegedly by ‘unidentified’ motorists in Subhanabad area of Peshawar.
According to police sources, suspected assailants sprayed bullets on the ANP leader and managed to flee from the spot.
Resultantly, he and his nephew succumbed to their injuries while their bodies were shifted to a hospital for autopsy. Officials said that the motive behind the incident remained unclear.
