ISLAMABAD: Former cricketer and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khansaid on Thursday while addressing a gathering in Narowal that they will not allowdisqualified former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif to become a nation’s hero.
Khan said that PML-N Supremo Nawaz Sharif has asked his party workers to receive him at the airport as Nawaz and his daughter Maryam are expected land in Lahore tomorrow (July 13).
National Accounability Bureau (NAB) has sentenced Nawaz Sharif to a total of 11 years in prison and a £8 million fine in the Avenfieldcase while his daughter Maryam was sentenced to eight years with a £2 million fine on July 6.
Furthermore, PTI workers were also advised by PTI Chairman Imran Khan to keep patience upon Nawaz’s arrival.
