LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will hold a ‘historic’ rally at Minar-e-Pakistan later today.
According to details, all necessary arrangement for the rally have been finalised, while the party has also displayed banners and pro-PTI slogans on major points in the city.
Speaking to the media earlier today, PTI chief Imran Khan said that his speech the Minar-e-Pakistan rally will be the most significant in the history of Pakistan politics.
“I am fighting against the corrupt for the future of our youth. Today (later), I will deliver the most significant speech in the country’s political history,” Imran said while speaking to the media.
The PTI chief further added that he promises to never let anyone steal the public finances, while he also urged the nation to support him in his “war against the corrupt” leadership of the country.
Moreover, Khan urged the people of Lahore to turn towards Minto Park saying that “today is a historic day for the country and history will be made today.”
“Today, we will gather at the Minto Park and decide the country’s future. Those who live outside Lahore must also join us on this historic day,” he concluded.
