KARACHI: At least 35 suspects were apprehended after police conducted search operations and raids in separate parts of Karachi during the early hours of Wednesday.
A search operation near the Northern Bypass resulted in the arrests of six suspects.
29 people were detained as a result of overnight operations conducted in the areas of North Nazimabad, Zaman Town, Madina Colony, PIB, Tipu Sultan, Manghopir and Gulberg.
Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the suspects and their hideouts.
