ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that Panama case has become indefensible for the Sharif family as they have no evidence to present to the Joint Investigation Team (JIT), tasked by Supreme Court to probe the money trail and corruption allegations on Wednesday.
He was chairing the consultation meeting with the PTI leaders in the capital. Imran has condemned the attempts of defaming the members of JIT, and acknowledged that the apex court rejected Hussain Nawaz’s plea against leakage of a CCTV image.
According to source of a private TV channel the PTI chairman is planning to launch a campaign against the government after Eidul Fitr. PTI leaders in Bani Gala discussed the ongoing issues related to Panama case, PML-N objections on JIT members and party stance on matters of significance. The lawmakers and advisors analysed their position on cases filed against PTI.
The meeting was attended by senior PTI leaders including Asad Umar, Fawad Chaudhry, Jahangir Khan Tareen and others.
