ISLAMABAD: United States (US) Council General YuriyFedkiw called on Pakistan RailwaysChief Executive Officer (CEO) Muhammad Javed Anwar in Lahore on Thursday.
During the meeting, the matters regarding freight operation, China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and railway links with central Asian states were discussed.
US Council General said that environment pollution will be eliminated by railways freight operation. The CEO said that Pakistan Railways is bringing modern railways singling system, which will also be helpful in reducing environmental pollution.
