HE Qatar’s Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Sheikh / Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, delivered medical aid and materials provided by the Qatar Charity to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, to support its efforts to limit the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19). The aid was received by HE Maj. Gen (r) Safdar Abbas, Executive Director of Pakistan Air Force Hospital in Islamabad. HE the Ambassador, shared some details about necessary medical assistance provided by the State of Qatar to brotherly and friendly countries in order to confront the outbreak of Covid- 19, expressing his hope that this aid would support the Pakistani government’s efforts to combat Covid-19, wishing that this crisis will end soon. Talking on this occasion, HE Maj. Gen (r)Safdar Abbas thanked the State of Qatar for its permanent support and its humanitarian stance by standing by the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the Covid-19 outbreak, especially Qatar’s support for the health sector in Pakistan to meet the challenges of this pandemic. The event was also attended by distinguished Diplomats and officials from Military Attaché of the State of Qatar in Islamabad.
