The federal government has decided to bring a new ordinance, After the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Amendment Ordinance 2019 expired.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has already formed a committee to complete the task.
According to details, the old NAB ordinance will expire tomorrow and the NAB Ordinance could not be extended due to non-convening the session of the National Assembly.
After which the government and the opposition are consulting on the NAB amendment law and the government has decided to bring a new NAB ordinance.
The committee will comprise of Law Minister Farogh Naseem, Asad Umar, Babar Awan, Pervez Khattak and Shehzad Akbar.
Sources further said that the law ministry has started working on the new ordinance which will be different to the previous one as many sections are being altered in it.
