Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Mufti Kifayatullah along with his sons and a friend has been injured in an attack by some unknown people in Mansehra early on Wednesday morning.
According to the details, Mufti Kifayatullah was heading to Mansehra accompanied by his two sons: Shabbir Mufti and Hussain Mufti and a friend named Jan Mohammad. When they reached Baidra road; a group of unknown people in two vehicles did an abrupt attack on their car with iron rods — which made serious injuries to the JUI-F leader and comparatively little to others.
All of the injured were taken to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital.
Meanwhile, Kifayatullah’s son Hussain lodged the First Information Report (FIR) at City police station.
On the other hand, Kifayatullah’s elder brother, Habibur Rehman claimed that the attackers didn’t want to perish my brother; it was their message to not speak against them,
“The attackers didn’t plan to kill Mufti Kifaytullah and his sons, rather it was a strong message from them,” Rehman said.
