KARACHI: A girl was found unconscious and left naked here at Karachi Sea View on Sunday.
The girl was allegedly raped at her apartment in the city’s upscale Defence Housing Authority (DHA).
The victim claimed in the first information report (FIR) that she was visited by two friends, identified as Kiran and Ali alias Imran, at her apartment and they had dinner together after the meal, she felt disoriented and sick after which the alleged rapist, Imran (alias Ali), sexually assaulted her. Afterward, when she was completely unconscious, they threw her at Sea View.
Meanwhile, Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam has taken notice of the incident, seeking details from the SSP South (Investigation).
Police said the rape would only be confirmed once the medical report is released. However, action to arrest the rapists was ongoing, they added.
