India on Tuesday released 13 Pakistani prisoners after they completed their jail terms. The released prisoners, which included four fishermen who illegally entered Indian waters, were handed over to Pakistani authorities at the Wagah Border. Meanwhile, at least three of the prisoners released were detained in India for overstaying their visas. Travelling arrangements for the released fishermen from Lahore to Karachi will be made by the Edhi Foundation. The prisoners expressed gratitude over their release in the holy month of Ramazan as they will be able to celebrate Eid with their families. In April, Pakistan had released over 360 Indian fishermen.
