The judge extended the bail of Amir Chishti and Farhan till May 7. Both the accused appeared before the court to have their bail extended, which was to expire on Saturday. They were given bail against a surety bond of Rs 300,000 each. Earlier, Nishwa was paralysed due to a ‘wrong injection’ administered by the ‘untrained nursing staff’ of Darul Sehat Hospital. After battling for her life for over a week, the nine-month-old breathed her last on April 22 at Liaquat National Hospital in Karachi. The case of the minor girl came to light on April 14, when she was reportedly administered a wrong injection, which badly paralysed her. Her father Qaiser, alleged that Nishwa was paralysed due to a “wrong injection” given to her by the “untrained nursing staff” of the private hospital.
