Levies forces on Friday recovered nine foreign abductees after a heavy exchange of fire in Balochistan near Pak-Iran border. According to official sources, the raid was conducted on a tip-off in the neighbourhood of Taftan in Chagai district. However, the kidnappers left behind Afghan abductees and fled from the scene. Chagai Deputy Commissioner Fateh Khan Khajjak has confirmed the development, saying nine Afghan illegal immigrants had been abducted from Afghan border town Rabaat 20 days ago. According to him, a crackdown has been launched against criminals and five abductors have been arrested in separate raids till filing of the story.
