LAHORE: A man has been shot dead outside the sessions court on Saturday by unidentified men as he arrived court to secure an interim bail in a case registered against him for marrying by will.
According to the police three unidentified motorcyclists opened fire on the deceased outside the sessioss court.
The deceased was identified as Bilal, a resident of Mughalpura. Bilal arrived at court to secure an interim bail in a case registered against him for marrying by will.
Bilal had been accused of kidnapping a girl and a case had been registered against him at the Gujjarpur Police Station.
The sessions judge has taken notice of the incident and directed the police to summon a report.
Police have sent the body for post-mortem examination and registered a case against the men.
