India outclassed Pakistan by eight-wickets in a one sided match at Dubai International Stadium on Wednesday.
India successfully chased down a target of 163 against Pakistan today at Dubai in 29 overs, the earliest any team has chased down a target of 150-plus against Pakistan in ODIs played in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
This is Pakistan’s first defeat in ODIs in UAE since their defeat against England at Dubai in 2015. They won nine consecutive ODIs played in UAE. in between.
India comfortably chased the target of 162 for the lost of 2 wickets and outclassed Pakistan in all three form of the cricket.
Indian skipper Rohit Sharma scored 52 runs on 39 balls, Shikhar Dhawan scored 46 on 54 balls. Ambati Rayudu and Dinesh Karthik remained not out on 31 each.

India bowlers took back-to-back wickets in quick sessions.
Pakistani batsmen started carefully. In first two overs opners made only two runs. In third over Imam-ul-haw lost his wicket to Bhuvneshwar Kumar on two runs.
in the next over under pressure Fakhar Zaman hit a reckless shot and lost his wikcet as well.
After losing two wickets Shoaib malik and Babar Azam stabilized Pakistan’s innings for a shot time when Babar Azam bowled on 47. Together Babar and Malik strung a 82-run partnership.
Skipper Sarfraz Ahmed and Asif Ali failed to play much-needed innings and dismissed on six and nine respectively.
Kedar Jadhav and Bhuvneshwar Kumar took three wickets apiece as Pakistan crumbled to 162 all out in their Asia Cup match against arch rivals India in Dubai on Wednesday.
India now need 163 runs to win.
As things started to look good for Pakistan, Kuldeep removed Babar on 47 runs. Soon after Babar left the crease the skipper Sarfarz Ahmed played a reckless shot and lose his wicket on six runs.
Earlier, Pakistan lost early wickets of Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman in no time. Pakistan are now 3/2 in 4.4 over.
Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and choose to bat first against India in the 5th match (Group A) of Aisa Cup 2018.

Asia Cup 2008 – India (301/4) cruised to victory against Pakistan (299/4) and chased down the target with 47-balls to spare. In the same edition, Pakistan avenged the loss in the Super Fours (see Pak win section)
Asia Cup 2010 – India (271/7) beat Pakistan (267 all out) by three wickets, with one ball remaining.
Asia Cup 2010/11 – India (330/4) beat Pakistan (329/6) by six wickets in the group stages. However, Pakistan managed to win the tournament by beating Bangladesh in the final. Hint: Shahid Afridi’s masterclass.
Asia Cup 2016 (T20 edition) – India (85/5) beat Pakistan (83 all out) and then went on to win the tournament too. Fairplay to them.

The Asia Cup 1977 clash between the two teams was called off twice. Once due to heavy rain and bad light and a second time due to rain again. Therefore, in total, India has won 6, Pakistan has won 5 and no one has won once.
