KARACHI: The different areas in Karachi on Wednesday have experienced drizzle since morning. The locals sigh in relief as some relief from the heat in the shape of drizzle has greeted the city.
Different areas of Karachi, including Defense, Landhi, Korangi, Malir, Gulshan Iqbal, Sharah e Faisal and parts of northern Karachi are in a wondrous windy and rainy spell. Locals ushered towards the sea to enjoy the rainy day, much to the relief of the residents, who just recently experienced another heat wave.
However, because of the light rain, there are reports of several accidents of motorcyclists due to the slippery roads.
According to the weather forecast, Karachi is likely to be cloudy for the rest of the day and the next four days. On the other hand, many residents have been complaining about power outages.
Moreover, many experts have recommended that people remain cautious and stay away from broken wires and refrain from touching wires with wet hands. They have also suggested that the motorcyclists should ride at minimum speed.
It should also be noted that Karachi experienced light rainfall for the most part of the previous night.
