Dir Bala: At least 60 shops were burnt when fire broke out in Tar Patar Bazaar in Dir Bala.
According to locals, fire broke out in a cylinder shop and within no time engulfed 60 shops.
The residents of the area tried to extinguish fire on self-help basis; the traders staged protest against the fire brigade and rescue teams as they failed to reach the spot in time.
Local residents with the help of two vehicles of fire brigade extinguished fire after regular efforts for over three hours.There were no reports of loss of life in the incident.
