An Election Commission of Pakistan report has revealed the asset details of Prime Minister Imran Khan, which are valued at Rs80.6 million.
The prime minister owns 10 properties in the country, and has also inherited a seven-kanal house in Zaman Park, Lahore, which is valued at Rs 40.5 million. Furthermore, he received one property as a gift – a 300 kanal house in Bani Gala, which later incurred additional construction costs of Rs10 million. The report also provides details about his other properties, such as a six-kanal plot in Mohra Noori worth Rs 0.5 million, and five inherited plots in Mianwali, Bhakkar, Sheikhupura, and Khanewal.
Furthermore, the prime minister has two apartments at Constitution Avenue in Islamabad, for which he paid Rs 10.2 million. His other assets include four goats worth Rs 200,000, Rs 50.6 million in a local bank account, and a further Rs 10.9 million in cash.
Meanwhile, the prime minister’s wife, Bushra Bibi, owns four properties in the country, including in Pakpattan, Okara and Bani Gala. One of her properties from Sheikhupura has already been sold for Rs 70 million.
According to the report, while the prime minister does not have any offshore businesses, he does have four foreign currency bank accounts, which have £518, $328,760, $1,470 and £0 respectively.
