Central President of Pakistan Muslim League-Q Women’s Wing and MNA Farrukh Khan, congratulating on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day, has urged the nation to follow the principles of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah Farrukh Khan in a statement issued in Islamabad said that the Independence Day reminds us the sacrifices and tireless struggle of this country. “Today is a great day to give thanks to God Almighty. Allah Almighty blessed the Muslims of the subcontinent with the blessing of freedom and gave them the opportunity to live in the open air according to their beliefs,” she added. The MNA said that the blessing of freedom was made possible due to the special grace of Allah Almighty, the selfless leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the vision and dream of the poet of the East, Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal. Farrukh Khan said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had dreamed of a democratic, prosperous and peaceful Pakistan where everyone had equal rights and was a perfect example to the world. She added that people had fought hard and sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the people. “Due to the efforts of the martyrs, today we are breathing freedom on our holy land,” she maintained.
