Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered to fix responsibility on those found involved in the forced disappearance of Imran Khan , a citizen who is missing and has not been recovered since the last five years. Chief Justice of IHC remarked ” court will issue orders in the perspective of Mahira Sajjad case. Chief Justice of IHC Athar Minallah took up for hearing petition filed by Nasrin Begum mother of Imran Khan Tuesday. Additional Attorney General (AAG) Tariq Khokhar and Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Tayyab Shah appeared in the court on behalf of the federation. Col (Retd) Inam ul Rahim advocate represented the petitioner in the court. AAG told the court missing persons case is running from 2015. We have found that Imran Khan is held by not any security agency. Chief Justice remarked ” is there any such material available through which we could ascertain it is case of forced disappearance. Defence counsel Col (Retd) Inam ul Rahim told the court report of commission constituted for recovery of missing persons is available in this regard. The court directed AAG to identify the then IG Islamabad, SHO and others. The court remarked you filed application in commission on March 21, 2019.
