The shrine of Sufi saint Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan will open for devotees from May 28 onwards. The shrine staff will follow all the SOPs, said Auqaf chief administrator. It was closed to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus in the country. The Sindh government even cancelled the annual urs of Sufi saint that was scheduled to start from April 12. As per the Islamic calendar, the three days of festivities at the shrine start from Shaban 18. Thousands from all over Pakistan visit the shrine to attend the urs.
