The main Karakoram Highway has been closed for all kinds of traffic up to Kaghan and Mansehra. However, it has been reported that the lower Kohistan received heavy snowfall due to which the residents of such districts are facing acute shortage of food, together with various other daily use commodities.
Intermittent rain hits various districts of the Hazara Division while the mountains received snowfall together with hail storms during the last three consecutive days, however, the entire regional territory turning the weather cold. The sky was fully covered with deep but icy clouds, hill tops were indicating a glimpse of fog enabling people to watch weather situation on them. The rain also streams while several parts of the Hazara, numerous parts were converted into heavily flooded. The mountainous series of Galyat, included Nathiagali, Meera Jani, and Changla Gali Beran Gali received sizeable snow, due to which the traffic was blocked on various scattered places.
