Mirpurkhas: A labourer was attacked by his landlord for coming late at his workplace in Deh 153 on Saturday. The landlord threw acid on him which inflicted serious injuries to his hands, leg and other sensitive parts of his body.
The mother of the victim brought him to Digri taluka hospital despite the resistance of the landlord. The landlord stopped him from seeking medical help.
The mother told the journalists, “My son had failed to reach the farmland of Abdul Khalique Jatt on time a few days ago. The acid was thrown by the landlord on my son in punishment.”
